1/2 teaspoonful salt
1/8 teaspoonful ground nutmeg
2 astronomical eggs
1/2 cup of buttermilk
1 gal of vegetable anoint

2 Baking sheets
2 large bowls
An electric hand mixer
A deep frying sens
A candy thermometer
Gilded thongs
Parchment paper

Decant a cup of apple cyder into a small pan or bowl. Heat it over a low flame for about 30 minutes and/or until there is about 1/4 cup of apple cider unexpended.

Sift together in a large bowl your 3-1/2 cups of flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg.
